Vietnam Education Union applies digital platform to innovate communication work

The Vietnam Education Union (CĐGD) currently manages 43,494 union members belonging to 74 affiliated trade unions.

Over the past time, with the attention and leadership of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the CĐGD has focused on directing and operating grassroots units' trade unions to be proactive, innovative, creative, overcome difficulties, focus on deploying and implementing key tasks and has achieved certain results, contributing to stabilizing the team situation, improving the quality of trade union activities and implementing the political tasks of the sector in the current period.

In particular, closely following the theme of work in 2026: "Promoting innovation and creativity; concretizing and bringing the Resolution of the Party Congress, Fatherland Front, and Trade Union into life", the TU has proactively innovated and created in directing, operating and organizing the implementation of tasks; thoroughly grasped and seriously and promptly implemented the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and the direction of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Trade union activities are organized in a practical direction, towards grassroots levels, taking union members, officials, teachers, and workers (CBNGNLĐ) as the center. At the same time, focus on improving the capacity of trade union officials at all levels; strengthening care, representation, and protection of the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of CBNGNLĐ, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of trade union activities throughout the industry.

The TU organizes meetings and conferences in direct and online forms, flexibly using digital platforms to deploy tasks in a specific and timely manner to support and remove difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process at the grassroots level. In addition, the TU directs units to promote dialogue activities, thereby proactively participating in protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of officials, civil servants, public employees and laborers in the sector in a timely and effective manner.

Trade unions of units have closely followed the key tasks of the sector and the direct direction of the TU to effectively implement trade union activities at the grassroots level. Units have proactively promoted internal strength, seized the attention and support of Party committees, close coordination of professional departments, and at the same time applied many creative solutions in directing and organizing implementation, thanks to which, trade union work programs and plans for the first 6 months of 2026 were implemented synchronously, basically completing the set goals and tasks.

Along with the implementation of tasks, the TU also did a good job of emulation and commendation. In just the first 6 months of 2026, the TU recorded, praised and awarded certificates of merit to 71 scientists with outstanding achievements in "Scientific Research and Technology Transfer"; selected and awarded the "22.7 Award - Vietnam Education Union" in 2026 to 15 typical trade union officials.

Trade unions of units have closely coordinated with professional departments at the same level to organize the honoring and commendation of 3,783 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in teaching, learning, scientific research and trade union activities.
