Strengthening supervision, limiting vehicles going around in Hanoi

In order to best serve the travel needs of people during the 2026 New Year holiday, units under Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco) have seriously implemented and effectively implemented the directives and plans of the City People's Committee and the Hanoi Department of Construction. Thereby, the goals set out in the passenger service plan have been basically completed, including transportation volume, number of bus trips, passenger service, vehicle parking at bus stations and parking lots; security and social safety are guaranteed, service quality is maintained, and good customer satisfaction is met.

For public passenger transport activities, the work of developing plans and coordinating the implementation of services during the holiday between units has been carried out synchronously and effectively. The Corporation's public passenger transport by bus is operating stably, smoothly, and promptly to meet the travel needs of the people.

In the field of bus stations and parking lots, Hanoi Bus Station Joint Stock Company, Hanoi Bus Station Exploitation Center and affiliated stations have closely coordinated with competent authorities to strengthen inspection and supervision of vehicles after leaving the station, minimizing the situation of stopping, parking in violation of regulations and vehicles going around.

Vehicles departing from the station must strictly comply with regulations on transportation activities, ensuring traffic safety; the control of ticket prices and directional changes is strictly implemented, promptly preventing the situation of ticket price collection higher than the registered level. Thanks to proactive coordination and service organization, bus stations basically do not experience congestion of passengers, creating favorable conditions for passengers passing through the station to use safe and civilized services.

Hanoi Parking Lot Exploitation Company has organized a shift at 148 bus stations and parking lots in the area, arranging 413 officers and employees to be on duty 24/24, meeting the increasing demand for vehicle parking during the holidays.

Service results during the 2026 New Year holiday, from January 1, 2026 to January 4, 2026, the bus units of the Corporation have completed a total of 35,489 trips, serving 245,532 passengers with one-way tickets.

At bus stations under Hanoi Bus Station Joint Stock Company and Hanoi Bus Station Exploitation Center, the total number of vehicles served reached 8,979 vehicles, of which 402 were increased, meeting the travel needs of 66,185 passengers.

Vehicle parking work reached 82,000 vehicles, including 67,600 cars and 14,400 motorbikes.
