People monitor the largest park project in Quang Ngai

Mr. Tra Thanh Danh - Chairman of Quang Ngai City People's Committee has just announced the results of the implementation of Thach Bich Green Park project for the authorities and especially people in Group 6, Le Hong Phong Ward, Quang Ngai City (29 -year suspended project area, which is being implemented by Quang Ngai City People's Committee project of Thach Bich green park).

According to Mr. Tra Thanh Danh, on 4.3, the Department of Construction issued a letter notifying the results of the evaluation of the feasibility study report to invest in the construction of Thach Bich Green Park project. On this basis, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai City has approved the feasibility study report to invest in the construction of the park, and at the same time, the provincial People's Council has been completed to submit to the provincial People's Council at the theme meeting on March 19, 2025, in order to allocate capital for project implementation and register the list of land acquisition works in 2025.

According to Mr. Tra Thanh Danh, in April 2025, on the basis of the feasibility study report to invest in construction of Thach Bich Green Park Project, which was approved and capital allocated by the Provincial People's Committee, Quang Ngai City People's Committee continued to direct the investor to approve the bidding plan of phase I of the project and deploy the next tasks such as: Select the cadastral measurement consulting unit and plug in the project boundaries; Planning to carry out land acquisition, inventory survey and ground clearance compensation. On that basis, it will coordinate with the People's Committee of Le Hong Phong ward to submit to the People's Committee of Quang Ngai City to issue a notice of land acquisition to implement the project in the shortest time.

Mr. Tra Thanh Danh assigned the People's Committee of Le Hong Phong Ward to be responsible for publicly announcing and fully informing the households of Group 6, Le Hong Phong Ward, Quang Ngai City for people to monitor.

The Thach Bich green park project will be implemented in the 2024-2027 period, with a total investment of nearly VND900 billion with an area of about 8.1 hectares.

As Lao Dong Newspaper has reported, for 29 years living in a state of suspended planning, people in Group 6 (Le Hong Phong Ward, Quang Ngai City) have been waiting waiting for the Thach Bich green park project to be implemented, so that people can escape the state of suspended planning. Nearly 3 decades of suspended planning have caused people's lives to be miserable, their houses to leak and suffer enough damage.
