New look of Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium

According to Lao Dong Newspaper, in mid-March 2025, Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium has undergone significant changes thanks to synchronous investment in equipment, lighting systems, electronic boards, stands and courtyards.

These improvements not only help the stadium meet professional competition standards but also bring a more spacious appearance, creating the best conditions for players to compete and fans to enjoy top-level matches.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh (65 years old, residing in Group 3, Phuong Lam Ward, Hoa Binh City) shared: "Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium is over 20 years old. Previously, the facilities were still limited and did not really meet professional competition standards. But now, the stadium has been renovated to be more spacious and modern".

According to Mr. Thanh, the pitch has been significantly upgraded, the stands have been reinforced. In particular, a modern lighting system allows the stadium to host matches in the evening, meeting a more flexible competition schedule.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang - Communications officer of Hoa Binh Football Club (Hoa Binh FC) said that the stadium has a capacity of 3,000 - 4,000 people. Currently, this is the home stadium of Hoa Binh Football Club, the team competing in the National First Division - Golden Star Beer 2024-2025.

In 2024, Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium will be invested in lighting systems with a total investment of over 13 billion VND. The investment in the lighting system is to ensure the facilities to successfully organize home matches of Hoa Binh FC as well as serve competitions in other sports, Mr. Thang shared.

According to Mr. Thang, the dressing room and technical area have also been invested in, improving service standards for both players and the coaching staff. These improvements help Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium become closer to professional football fields across the country.

In addition to football, Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium is also a place where many other sports such as athletics and mass sports activities are held. Thanks to these activities, the local sports movement is promoted, increased the participation of people and contributed to improving public health.

Speaking with reporters, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoa - Chairman of Phuong Lam Ward People's Committee said: "Up to now, the provincial stadium has been invested in repairing, upgrading, and renovating the piste to ensure compliance with standards, serving well the teams' training, organizing physical education and sports activities as well as the general training needs of the people".

According to Mr. Hoa, not just a football field, Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium is the pride of the people here, contributing significantly to raising the image of the province on the national sports map.
