Dien Bien receives smart agricultural project from Japanese partner
Dien Bien - The Provincial People's Committee has just approved receiving an aid worth more than 13.4 billion VND from the Japanese partner.
Recently, Mr. Le Van Luong - Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee signed Decision No. 2963 approving the receipt of aid sponsored by Japanese partners to implement the "Experimental project to establish a smart agricultural management model, disseminate and expand the high-yield agricultural cultivation model through remote support in the province".
The total aid capital is over 13.4 billion VND (equivalent to more than 75.3 million Yen), from the 100% non-refundable aid capital sponsored by Niinuma Tomofarm Company Limited.
The project will be implemented in Thanh Yen commune, Dien Bien province. The real time is until the end of August 2026.
The project aims to transfer and apply modern and advanced Japanese production technology through supporting the construction of a greenhouse system with micro-climate control equipment, automatic irrigation and nutrition systems, and sensory monitoring systems (umidity, heat, CO2, light).
At the same time, improve the capacity of technical staff and people, creating a basis and premise for replicating smart agricultural models in the province.
According to the plan, suchuma Tomofarm Company Limited will organize a survey, purchase, install a smart greenhouse system, provide guidance and hand over to the project's beneficiary organization for management, operation and use.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with sponsors and related units to receive, manage and use the aid in accordance with regulations.
