Dien Bien - On January 8, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with Dien Bien province to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the project to bring national grid electricity to the two highland villages of Sang Nhe commune.

The two villages of Hang Cu and Hang Chua, Sang Nhe commune, are the residential areas of nearly 150 households (over 700 people - mainly ethnic minorities) that still do not have grid electricity.

According to the design, the project has an investment scale including a 35kV medium voltage line of about 4 km long, building 48 power pole locations, 2 transformer stations; along with a 4.4 km long low voltage line system with nearly 200 electric meters, ensuring the safe and stable delivery of national grid power to each household.

Representative of the sponsoring and construction unit, Mr. Pham Van Quynh - AIT Company - said that the unit has mobilized human resources, machinery, and implemented site leveling since January 6, determined to work with the forces to complete the project on schedule, ensuring quality and safety.

The project will be completed "power outage" before February 3, 2026, right on the occasion of Lunar New Year.

When the project is completed, nearly 150 households in Phang Cu and Hang Chua villages will celebrate Tet for the first time in the national grid light.
