However, this will be a premise for the grassroots trade union to propose a bonus payment time for next year's Tet. At that time, businesses will proactively build an estimate in advance.

It is known that Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. produces electrical wires for automobiles, with Japanese investment capital, has 1 factory in Di An ward, 1 factory in Ben Cat ward with about 7,000 workers. Tet 2026, the company rewards employees with 2.4 months of basic salary (basic salary plus allowances). The company also increases the basic salary for employees.

In addition, the grassroots trade union and the company also organize many Tet care activities for workers such as giving gifts to workers, organizing buses to take workers home for Tet. Thereby, helping workers celebrate Tet in harmony and joy.

Located in An Phu ward, Thong Dung Shoe Co., Ltd. has about 4,000 employees working. This year, the enterprise continues to make efforts to organize production, maintain jobs and stable income for employees. The company has organized overtime so that employees have more income. However, this year, prices of many items have increased, continuing to affect workers' lives.

At this time, the grassroots trade union is organizing activities on the occasion of the 20th of October holiday to take care of the material and spiritual life of female workers. The grassroots trade union is also preparing to plan Tet care for union members and workers.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien - Chairman of the company's grassroots trade union - said that in 2026, the company has Tet bonuses equal to the basic monthly salary and additional bonuses according to position. This year, although the situation is more difficult, the grassroots trade union will continue to propose to businesses to maintain the Tet bonus level and the bonus payment time earlier to encourage employees.

Some other grassroots trade unions in Thuan An ward said that at this time, businesses have issued revenue and expenditure estimates. However, grassroots trade unions will skillfully negotiate and propose that businesses pay Tet bonuses earlier. If not approved, the grassroots trade union proposes that businesses allow employees to advance Tet bonuses to have funds to book bus tickets, train tickets or shop.
