Female workers in Ca Mau receive health care advice
Ca Mau - Female workers are provided with health care knowledge, proactive disease prevention and building a scientific lifestyle at a program organized by the Trade Union.
On October 13th, the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation organized a program to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day October 20th, combined with a thematic talk "Female union members, healthy, beautiful, confident workers" for female union members and workers at Pinetree One Member Limited Liability Company.
At the program, Specialist Doctor II Duong Kim Ngan, Head of the Department of Reproductive Health of the Ca Mau Provincial Center for Disease Control, advised and shared knowledge about women's health. Through this, female workers have more information to better understand their bodies, know how to take care of their health and proactively prevent diseases.
According to Ms. Ngo Diem Phuc, Standing Vice President of the Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation, taking care of the health of female union members and workers is one of the key tasks of the Trade Union organization. Health counseling activities contribute to helping women improve their knowledge, take care of themselves, and balance work and family life.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation presented 30 gifts to female union members in particularly difficult circumstances. The grassroots trade union of Pinetree Co., Ltd. was also selected to implement the model "Trade Union Arms - Accompanying Comprehensive Health Care for Female Workers", aiming to strengthen health care activities for female workers at enterprises.
