More than 1,600 people attended the Flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the Liberation of Khanh Hoa
On the morning of April 2, Khanh Hoa province held a flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Provincial Liberation Day and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
The ceremony was attended by Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, leaders of Khanh Hoa province and more than 1,600 cadres, workers, soldiers of the armed forces, and youth union members.
The units and schools have 990 officers and soldiers from: Provincial Military Command; Provincial Border Guard Command; Provincial Police; Naval Region 4; 377 Air Defense Division; 305 Infantry Division; Navy Academy; Air Force Officer School; Information Officer School; Squadron; infantry Battalion 460 of the 974 Infantry Regiment; Mechanized Patrol Company and Information Corps 18 (Provincial Military Command); reserve forces and militia men/women of Nha Trang City...
The flag-raising ceremony is an occasion to review the heroic history of the General Offensive and Uprising in the Spring of 1975, especially the Khanh Hoa Provincial Liberation event on April 2, 1975 .
The event not only has the meaning of showing gratitude to previous generations but also arouses national pride, strengthens confidence in the leadership of the Party, raises awareness of revolutionary traditions for the younger generation, cadres, party members and people.
This is also an opportunity for Khanh Hoa province to affirm its determination for sustainable development, spread the message of peace, unity and aspiration to rise up, building an increasingly rich and beautiful homeland.
