Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced on March 17 the scores of the second thinking assessment test (taking place on March 8-9) of nearly 19,000 candidates. Of which, the contestant with the highest score came from Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted, Bac Ninh province with 92.69/100 points.
In the top 10 most excellent students, there are two other students at this school, ranked 2nd (92.56 points) and 7th respectively.
There were 4 contestants with over 90 points, 67 contestants with over 80 points, 847 contestants with over 70 points. The average score of the second round is 54.39/100, lower than the first round (54.54 points). See more...

Expected new enrollment points for the Academy of Finance in 2025
The Academy of Finance plans to enroll 6,320 full-time university students in 2025, with three programs: 3,300 international certificate orientation students, 2,700 standard program students and 320 international joint program students. The school opens many new majors, including Political Economics - Finance, Economic Law, Financial Mathematics, Data Science in Finance, Artificial Intelligence in Finance and Accounting for the standard program, along with 9 new majors in the international certificate orientation program.
The Academy applies 4 admission methods: direct admission and priority according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, admission for outstanding abilities, admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, and combined admission. The academic transcript admission score will be calculated for all 3 years of high school and converted to a common scale. In particular, students in the program affiliated with the University of Greenwich (UK) will be able to study additional Startup subjects, creating conditions for hands-on experience and early familiarity with the labor market. Notes when registering for grade 10 admission in Ho Chi Minh City
According to the draft 10th grade enrollment plan for the 2025-2026 school year in Ho Chi Minh City, students can register for a maximum of 8 wishes, including 3 wishes for regular grade 10, 2 wishes for specialized grade 10 and 3 wishes for integrated grade 10. In April, the Department of Education and Training will announce the enrollment quota for each public high school, after which grade 9 students will register their wishes based on their academic performance, geographical distance and personal wishes.
The 10th grade entrance exam will take place in two forms: admission and entrance exam. The entrance exam is divided into two stages: phase 1 is to register 3 wishes to enter public high schools (except for some specialized schools), phase 2 will have additional admission if there are still targets. Students cannot change their wishes after the time allowed for adjustment.
Candidates take 3 theses including Math, Literature (120 minutes/subject) and Foreign Language (90 minutes). Admission scores are based on exam results and application wishes.
