General Nguyen Trong Nghia presides over the flower and incense offering ceremony at the Victory Monument of Tau O Block
On the morning of July 25, in Dong Nai City, General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, Head of the General Department of Politics, chaired the flower and incense offering ceremony to commemorate heroic martyrs at the Victory Monument of Tau O Block.
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Minh Triet, former President; Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics; delegates from leaders of general departments, military regions, and corps; leaders of functional agencies under central departments, ministries, branches, Dong Nai City, and local people.
In a sacred and emotional atmosphere, delegates spent minutes commemorating the spirits of heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.
After the flower and incense offering ceremony at the Victory Monument of Tau O Block, delegates will attend the ceremony to deploy the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains in Minh Duc commune, Dong Nai city. This is one of the practical activities towards the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 / July 27, 2026).
