HueWACO Chairman elected Chairman of Central - Central Highlands Water Supply and Drainage Association
HUE - Chairman of HueWACO's Board of Directors Le Quang Minh was elected Chairman of the Central - Central Highlands Water Supply and Drainage Association for the term 2026 - 2028.
On July 24-25, the working delegation of Hue Water Supply Joint Stock Company (HueWACO) led by Mr. Le Quang Minh - Chairman of HueWACO's Board of Directors attended the 13th Central - Central Highlands Water Supply and Drainage Branch Congress, term 2026 - 2028 and the Sports Festival - Specialized Workshop in Khanh Hoa province.
At the Congress, with a spirit of democracy and openness, delegates unanimously elected Mr. Le Quang Minh to hold the position of Chairman of the Central - Central Highlands Water Supply and Drainage Association for the term 2026 - 2028. The Congress also elected the Executive Committee consisting of 30 members and the Standing Committee consisting of 10 members.
In his position as the new Chairman of the Branch, Mr. Le Quang Minh emphasized the action slogan of the 2026-2028 term as: "Solidarity - Innovation - Cooperation - Development", and affirmed the consistent motto: "Taking digital transformation as the foundation, taking efficiency as the driving force, and taking sustainable development as the goal".
According to Mr. Le Quang Minh, this is the basis for member units to jointly develop and build a safe, efficient and sustainable water supply and drainage industry in the Central - Central Highlands region.
According to the assessment at the Congress, in the 2024 - 2026 term, the Branch has promoted training, technology updates, business connection, participated in policy contributions and supported members in responding to natural disasters. Stepping into the new term, digital transformation is identified as a consistent direction to improve the management capacity and operational efficiency of water industry enterprises.
Within the framework of the program, there is also a thematic workshop on solutions to improve the efficiency of management and operation of water supply and drainage systems in the Central - Central Highlands region adapting to climate change and urbanization. In addition, 20 booths displaying machinery, equipment, materials and water industry technology have created a forum for units to share experiences, introduce management solutions and models to improve the quality and efficiency of operations of the water supply and drainage industry in the region.
