Nghe An expresses gratitude to 165 volunteer groups and philanthropists
Nghe An - The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province organized a gratitude ceremony for 165 volunteer groups and philanthropists who contributed more than 509.6 billion VND to social security work.
On the afternoon of September 29, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Nghe An province organized a meeting and gratitude program for volunteer groups, philanthropists and individuals who have made many contributions to social security work in the 2023-2026 period.
According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, in this period, 180 volunteer groups and philanthropists with more than 14,277 members have connected, mobilized and contributed more than 509.6 billion VND to humanitarian, charity and social security activities.

Mobilized resources are focused on supporting the poor, people in difficult circumstances, vulnerable groups and people affected by natural disasters. Many programs to build and repair houses, support livelihoods, medical examination and treatment, and donate books and means of learning have been implemented.
Notably, charity groups and philanthropists have mobilized to build 11 civil bridges, flood overpasses and more than 50 classrooms, toilets, and clean water works at schools and school sites in mountainous, deep, and difficult areas.
During natural disasters, especially storms and floods in 2025, organizations and individuals promptly mobilized tens of billions of VND and hundreds of tons of goods and necessities to support people to overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province - acknowledged the contributions of volunteer groups and philanthropists. According to Ms. Sinh, this is an important supplementary resource, contributing to the Party Committee and government in implementing social security policies, poverty reduction and taking care of people's lives.
In the coming time, the Fatherland Front of Nghe An province orients the construction of a database on charity groups, philanthropists and social security needs; strengthen connectivity and information sharing to effectively allocate resources, limit duplication, and prioritize areas and subjects with many difficulties.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province honored and expressed gratitude to 165 volunteer groups and philanthropists who have made many contributions to social security work in the province.
