Khanh Hoa - Faced with the reality of garbage flooding the entire coastline, pedestrians, civil servants, and workers have been mobilized to clean up the environment.

On November 3, Ca Na Commune People's Committee organized a launching ceremony to respond to the waste collection and general environmental sanitation activities at Dam Ca Na Urban Area Park (old Ca Na village gate area).

Participating in the activity were the Commune Police force, the Commune Military Command, the Ca Na Port Border Guard Station, youth union members, students of Truong Van Ly Secondary School, the Ca Na Fishing Port Management Board, along with officials, civil servants, public employees, workers and people of the villages.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune called on officials, union members, association members and people from all walks of life to promote the spirit of solidarity, community responsibility, actively participate in environmental protection, build a civilized lifestyle, and contribute to creating a green - clean - beautiful landscape in residential areas.

The areas focused on handling include: spillway near the old Tax Team in Lac Son 2 village; football field near Sanh bridge in Thuong Diem village; yellow board area and along the embankments of Lac Tan 1, Lac Tan 2, Lac Tan 3 villages; Ca Na New City project park and area near the village gate; new bridge of Ca Na commune and provincial road 701.

Notably, some businesses in the area also support human resources and vehicles to serve operations.

The launching activity contributes to treating accumulated waste at polluted points and improving the environmental landscape.

Thereby, showing the coordination between the government, forces, business communities and people in environmental protection in the locality.

Through this activity, Ca Na commune continues to spread the spirit of community solidarity, responding to the Great National Unity Festival on November 18 and Vietnam Culture Day on November 24; and at the same time raising the awareness and responsibility of each citizen in building a cultural and civilized lifestyle.

Mr. Tuan Anh - a local resident - feels that the campaign to collect waste and clean up the beach is very practical and meaningful.

When directly participating in cleaning, he and everyone are even more aware of each person's responsibility in protecting the environment.

He hopes that, not only during the campaigns, everyone will maintain the habit of not littering indiscriminately, and jointly maintain a clean and beautiful coastline so that people and tourists have a safe and fresh living and playing space.
