Nearly 200 athletes participate in the "Run together - Move forward" - "Run Together - Together Advance" Running Race organized by the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines.

The runs not only bring a vibrant sports atmosphere but also spread the message of health training, strengthening the solidarity of workers, towards the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines (November 25, 1996 - November 25, 2016).

Taking place on October 10th - Capital Liberation Day, the race is also a practical activity in response to the national launching ceremony of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on choosing a suitable sport, exercising regularly for a healthy Vietnam.

From the starting area to the track, a lively atmosphere was created by the excitement of the athletes and cheers for their colleagues. In the two women's 2km and men's 4km events, each person had different speeds and fitnesss, but shared the same spirit of participating wholeheartedly, supporting each other and completing the safe distance.

Mr. Mai Le Loi - Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines - shared that for maritime workers, health is an important condition to complete work, whether working at wharves, on ships, in warehouses or office areas.

From the race, Mr. Mai Le Loi hopes that each union member and Maritime worker will proactively choose a suitable form of exercise and maintain the habit of daily training.

With the theme "Running Together - Moving Together", the online race is part of a series of activities towards the milestone of 30 years of construction and development of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines. The spirit of companionship on the running track is also what the Trade Union organization wishes to spread in labor production: each person completes their work well, collectives coordinate effectively, and work with businesses to strive to complete the tasks of 2026.

Immediately after this activity, the sports atmosphere will continue to be extended at the 11th Vietnam National Shipping Lines Sports Festival in 2026, held in two regions of the North and South on October 17-18 with the expected participation of more than 1,200 athletes from 62/65 grassroots trade unions directly under the Corporation's Trade Union.

This is an opportunity for union members and workers from units across the country to gather, meet, exchange, compete and show the spirit of solidarity and determination to conquer all challenges.
