Vietnam Union of Science and Technology organizes 2026 online race
The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology has just issued a plan to organize the online race in 2026.
According to the Vietnam Science and Technology Union (S&T), towards the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam S&T Union (August 30, 1947 - August 30, 2027), the Standing Committee of the S&T Union has just issued a plan to organize an online race in 2026.
The race aims to create a healthy and useful sports playground for union members and workers; encourage physical and sports training, improve health; build regular exercise habits and a positive lifestyle. At the same time, strengthen exchanges and connections between union members and workers; contribute to promoting the application of digital technology in organizing movement activities, gradually implementing digital transformation in trade union activities. Promote the application of digital technology in organizing trade union movement activities, gradually innovate methods of gathering and mobilizing union members and workers.
The performance calculation time of the tournament is from 0:00 on October 14, 2026 to 11:00 PM on November 27, 2026. Data comparison, verification, and synthesis from November 28, 2026 to December 4, 2026.
Participants, for individuals who are union members, workers of the Vietnam Science and Technology Union; for collectives, grassroots trade unions of the Vietnam Science and Technology Union are counted as 1 team participating in the tournament.
Athletes proactively choose the time and location to run outdoors; connect with the running platform to record and synchronize results according to the tournament regulations.
Regarding the prize structure, team prizes: 1 first prize includes a commemorative medal and a cash prize of 15 million VND; 2 second prizes include a commemorative medal and a cash prize of 10 million VND/prize; 5 third prizes include a commemorative medal and a cash prize of 5 million VND/prize.
Collectives with the highest average km/person (at least 50% of union members and employees of eligible participating units): 1 First prize including a commemorative medal and a prize of 15 million VND; 2 Second prizes including a commemorative medal and a prize of 10 million VND/prize; 5 Third prizes including a commemorative medal and a prize of 5 million VND/prize.
Individual prizes: 1 First prize including commemorative medal and cash prize of 5 million VND; 5 Second prizes including commemorative medal and cash prize of 3 million VND/prize; 7 Third prizes including commemorative medal and cash prize of 2 million VND/prize.
