Corporate culture starts from the way you treat and care for employees
Da Nang - Corporate culture is formed from a safe working environment, practical care, sharing spirit and opportunities for workers to grow up.
Culture present in every working day
In 2026, Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union in coordination with Thu Bon Commune People's Committee, Thu Bon Commune Police (Da Nang) selected the grassroots Trade Union of Phan Ngoc Anh Construction Materials Co., Ltd. to implement the pilot model "Labor Safety Culture at the Workplace".
Ms. Lam Thi Vy - Chairwoman of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union - said: Culture in enterprises is a broad concept and is viewed from many angles.
For Phan Ngoc Anh Construction Materials Co., Ltd. (an enterprise with about 220 employees, operating in a field with many heavy stages, regularly in contact with machinery and production lines), corporate culture is first and foremost seen from building a safe, disciplined and responsible working environment.
The "Labor Safety Culture at the Workplace" model implemented by Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union aims to turn safety into a daily habit of workers.
There, workers consciously use protective equipment, comply with operating procedures, detect risks to promptly report, remind colleagues and proactively prevent accidents.
The enterprise also invested in improving ventilation systems, cooling fans in the furnace area, wooden brick processing; watering to reduce dust on hot sunny days; equipping labor protection and organizing appropriate working and rest regimes.
Mr. Pham Phu Phuong - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Phan Ngoc Anh Construction Materials Co., Ltd. - said that taking good care of material and spiritual life helps employees feel secure and stick with the business for a long time, while contributing to increasing productivity and reducing errors and incidents during operation.
According to Mr. Phuong, when workers have good health, a comfortable spirit and consider businesses as a "second home", businesses also have more collective strength to overcome difficult periods and move towards sustainable development.
When workers become the center
A cultured working environment not only needs to be safe, but also needs to create for workers a feeling of being respected, listened to, and shared when facing difficulties.
According to grassroots trade union data, in 2026 alone, the enterprise spent over 5 billion VND on care and welfare activities for union members and workers.

That care is expressed by very specific things such as: gifts on holidays and Tet; activities for female workers; gifts on International Children's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival and rewarding children of workers with good academic achievements; visiting sick, injured or in difficult circumstances workers.
In the summer, the "Summer Cooldown" program supplements drinking water, milk, bean sweet soup, lemonade and improves working conditions for workers. After work hours, workers have volleyball courts, badminton and cultural and artistic exchange activities.
Ms. Hua Thi Vy - a worker in the shaping and processing team - said that what keeps her attached to the company is stable income, full implementation of insurance regimes, overtime, and mid-shift meals, along with the fact that businesses and Trade Unions regularly organize health check-ups, visits, and support workers when they are in difficulty.
In particular, cultural, sports, and exchange activities on holidays create more healthy playgrounds for workers, and at the same time help people have the opportunity to get closer and share with each other more after working hours.
Ms. Lam Thi Vy - Chairwoman of Nam Phuoc Commune Trade Union - assessed that Phan Ngoc Anh Construction Materials Co., Ltd. is a typical unit in building culture in the workplace.
According to Ms. Vy, the unique feature here is the coordination between the Party Cell, business leaders and the Trade Union, in which employees are placed in the center position.
There, corporate culture is clearly shown through everyday things such as a helmet being consciously worn, a cool water bottle in the hot sunny day, an initiative to help colleagues reduce hardship, or sharing when a worker's family encounters difficulties.
These things have become an internal strength to help workers stick together, harmonious labor relations and sustainable business development.
