This becomes the second route of Vietnam Airlines connecting Vietnam - Indonesia, helping to increase the total number of flights of the airline between the two countries to 14 flights per week.
The new route will open up many cooperation opportunities between the two countries in the future, in which tourism will develop even more strongly.
Recently, the number of tourists in Indonesia has grown strongly, and vice versa, Vietnam is a market with great potential for tourists to Indonesia.
Mr. Dang Ngoc Hoa - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Airlines - said that the airline is committed to continuing to develop the route in the future through searching for and expanding cooperation opportunities with airlines, partners, and partners in the Indonesian market; planning to increase the frequency of operations and improve service quality at all points of contact.
Also at the ceremony, Vietnam Airlines signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Indonesian Tourism Association (ASTINDO) on cooperation in developing tourists between Vietnam and Indonesia.

For many years, the Indonesian tourism market has always been considered the largest in Southeast Asia with the 4th largest population in the world.
The total volume of air travel between Vietnam and Indonesia will reach more than 800,000 in 2024, an increase of 61% compared to 2019.
