Nearly 400 people participate in voluntary blood donation
Ha Tinh - Nearly 400 volunteers participate in blood donation at the inter-communal clusters of Thach Ha, Viet Xuyen and Toan Luu.
On September 26, the Ha Tinh Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with the People's Committee of Thach Ha commune to organize the Voluntary Blood Donation Day in the inter-communal cluster of Thach Ha - Viet Xuyen - Toan Luu.
Activities in response to the peak emulation period "80 days of action for the community", celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Red Cross Society (November 23, 1946 - November 23, 2016).
The festival attracted nearly 400 volunteers who are officials, members, union members and people from 3 communes to participate. The Organizing Committee received 214 units of blood, contributing to supplementing blood sources for emergency and treatment of patients at medical facilities.
The activity contributes to spreading the spirit of compassion and responsibility to the community, while promoting the voluntary blood donation movement among officials, members, union members and people.
