Giving Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships to 120 students overcoming difficulties and studying well in Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City - 120 Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships awarded to help reduce pressure for families of students overcoming difficulties and achieving good results in their studies.

Working Group No. 5 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) has just coordinated with the Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Trade Union Vietsovpetro to organize the awarding of Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships; the "Loving Mid-Autumn Festival" program in 2026 for students in the eastern area of Ho Chi Minh City.

In the program, Area Management Task Force No. 5 organized the awarding of 120 Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships (worth from 1.5 to 5 million VND/scholarship) to students who are children of union members and workers overcoming difficulties and studious. At the same time, organized the awarding of 40 sets of English reading and learning markers to students.

On this occasion, Vietsovpetro Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Trade Union (Vietnam and Russia sides) also donated a total of 210 million VND to the Nguyen Duc Canh scholarship fund of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation.

In addition to scholarships, students also enjoyed exciting and attractive art performances; interacted with the characters Uncle Cuoi and Sister Hang; received gifts and candies to break the Mid-Autumn Festival feast.

According to Mr. Nguyen Trung Ngan - Head of Working Group No. 5 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, this is a very special program, because it not only awards scholarships but also sends to students the belief, encouragement and love of the Trade Union organization and accompanying units.

A part of the scholarship can help reduce the pressure of a worker's family; a Mid-Autumn gift can bring a child a memorable evening; a festival night can bring joy to children... Thereby showing that the Trade Union organization is always by the side, accompanying union members and workers," Mr. Ngan emphasized.

Through the program, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation wishes to add motivation for students who are children of union members and workers to consolidate their beliefs, constantly strive, and rise up in their studies.
