Ho Chi Minh City - 114 students who are children of workers and laborers overcoming difficulties and studying well were awarded city-level Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships in 2026.

On September 21, Working Group No. 1 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation organized a program to award Nguyen Duc Canh city-level scholarships in 2026.

The program is organized in combination with the "Loving Mid-Autumn Festival" activity and the presentation of school supplies to children of union members and workers.

At the program, 114 students who are children of workers and laborers were awarded Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships. These are students with difficult family circumstances but striving to rise up in their studies.

In this phase, 114 Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships were awarded with a total value of 202 million VND. Of which, 70 scholarships are for elementary school students with a level of 1.5 million VND/scholarship; 41 scholarships are for secondary and high school students with a level of 2 million VND/scholarship and 3 scholarships are for university students, worth 5 million VND/scholarship. In addition, 40 students were also awarded smart English learning tools.

According to representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, taking care of children of union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances, is an activity that the Trade Union organization is interested in.
