117 more students who are children of workers in Binh Duong area receive Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships
Ho Chi Minh City - 117 more workers in difficult circumstances in Binh Duong area received Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships.
On September 25, Working Group No. 8 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation coordinated with the Phu Loi Ward Trade Union to organize a program to award Nguyen Duc Canh city-level scholarships in 2026 combined with Loving Mid-Autumn Festival.
Students who are children of workers are received this time in the Thu Dau Mot and Tan Uyen areas.
Attending the program were Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Mr. Dao Tran Dong - Member of the Standing Committee, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee, Head of Working Group No. 8 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nga - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Phu Loi Ward Party Committee.
At the program, 117 students who are children of workers were awarded Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships with levels of 5 million VND, 2 million VND and 1.5 million VND. In addition, 40 students were awarded school supplies.
On this occasion, Phu Loi Ward Trade Union awarded 10 scholarships and dozens of Mid-Autumn gifts to children of union members and workers. Of which, 50 gifts were awarded directly at the program, and the rest were awarded at boarding houses.
The program includes children's art performances, lion dances, giao luu games and Mid-Autumn Festival feast breaking, creating a joyful atmosphere for children.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Dao Tran Dong said that the activity not only brought material gifts but also showed the concern and care of the Trade Union organization for the children of union members and workers, especially students in difficult circumstances who overcome difficulties and study well.
It is known that previously, the Nguyen Duc Canh scholarship program awarded to 118 disadvantaged students in Thuan An and Di An areas.
