More than 5,000 job positions in Ca Mau await workers
More than 5,000 job positions were recruited by businesses at the first Ca Mau Provincial Job Fair in 2026, opening up great opportunities for workers.
On April 25, Ca Mau province organized the 1st Job Fair in 2026. Attending the event were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province Ho Thanh Thuy, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Ngo Vu Thang, along with many employers and candidates.

Speaking at the opening, Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhut - Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Ca Mau province - said that the job fair is an activity within the series of events "Week of Science, Technology - Culture, Tourism and Mekong Delta Delicious Rice Contest, 1st time in 2026".
According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhut, creating jobs for workers, union members, youth, students is an important task, which is concerned by all levels and sectors. Over the past time, the Department of Home Affairs has coordinated with many agencies and units to connect businesses inside and outside the province, working with institutes and schools to train human resources; and at the same time organized many job transaction sessions, vocational counseling and job introductions for people.

At the festival, many businesses inside and outside the province registered to recruit more than 5,000 workers. Among them, many businesses outside the province recruit general laborers, highly skilled laborers with salaries from 12 million VND/month or more.
In addition, businesses also provide job counseling abroad in markets such as Japan and Korea with attractive income levels.

Em Nguyen Kim Chi said that she came to learn about the Japanese labor market and was enthusiastically advised by seniors, helping her understand the conditions to be able to work abroad.
The festival also provides multi-dimensional information about the domestic and foreign labor markets, creating opportunities for workers, students to exchange directly with businesses and vocational training institutions, thereby orienting appropriate careers.
According to the plan, in the period 2026 - 2030, Ca Mau sets a target of sending 5,000 workers to work abroad under contract, averaging 1,000 people per year. The province will continue to implement policies to support capital, skills training and foreign languages to improve the quality of human resources.
