Company in Ho Chi Minh City allows 3 more holidays but still calculates wages for employees
The company in Ho Chi Minh City arranged for employees to have 8 consecutive holidays, including 3 extra days off to receive full salary.
On April 23, the grassroots trade union (CĐCS) of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. (with 1 factory in Di An ward, 1 factory in Ben Cat ward, Ho Chi Minh City) said that the enterprise has a holiday plan for employees.
Accordingly, during the upcoming holiday, employees working at the company will have 8 consecutive holidays from April 26 to May 3.
Notably, among the 8 days of leave, there are 3 days that the company allowed additional leave (April 28, 29, and May 2), but employees still received full salary. This is like a reward to encourage and motivate employees during the holiday.
Workers will return to normal work on May 4. According to the grassroots trade union, the company is arranging production plans for long holidays for workers to conveniently return to their hometowns and rest.
It is known that Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a car electrical wire manufacturing enterprise with Japanese investment capital. In Ho Chi Minh City, the company has about 7,000 employees working.
