When workers tell stories

In addition to care activities, the plan also includes the "Workers Tell Stories" contest, attracting the attention and participation of union members and workers (CNLĐ).

Ms. Ton Nu My Hanh - Chairwoman of the Company's Trade Union, said that the contest aims to understand life, listen to the thoughts and aspirations of workers to strengthen solidarity, consolidate their trust and attachment to the business. Thereby also creating a healthy playground, strengthening connection and understanding, contributing to improving the working environment, building a humane and innovative corporate culture.

The contest will bring true stories, experiences, and emotions about life, creating understanding, sharing and spreading positive values. Diverse contents such as Writing about life, the beauty of union members and workers; Writing about a personal dream; Telling about a bright example in labor; Writing about moments when you once wanted to quit your job but stayed; Memories or journeys of you when working at the company; People who inspire you in your work; Writing about the image of Workers in the new era; Hwaseung Worker "Good Thinking - Beautiful Action".

Over the past time, social networks have had negative and untrue information, the grassroots trade union wants to share stories with positive content through this Contest to spread good values and move towards the cyberspace environment in a more responsible and positive way.

The Trade Union wants to listen to the dreams of workers because sometimes there are dreams that may be small and ordinary, but they are difficult to realize, who knows, listening to the grassroots trade union may help workers realize those dreams," Ms. Hanh expressed.

The contest is expected to be concluded on May 21st, currently many union members are enthusiastically participating and are in the process of writing articles and preparing videos very actively.

A contest entry by union members and workers titled "Little joy and big heart" has the following passage: "I am a worker working at Hwaseung Rach Gia Co., Ltd. My job every day is familiar stages on the shoe production line - repeatedly, regularly from morning to afternoon. Many people think it is a simple job, but for me, each operation carries responsibility. Because behind me is not only work, but also family.

I am the main breadwinner in the family. My husband does freelance work, income is precarious. Two young children, the older one is in school, the younger one is sent to kindergarten. Every month, tuition and living expenses depend on my worker's salary. There are times when pressure makes me tired, but then I tell myself: I am not allowed to give up.

On tiring overtime days, brothers and sisters encourage each other. When someone has an emergency, everyone is ready to support. These simple things help me overcome many difficulties in life.

I am an ordinary worker, nothing outstanding. But I always try to do my job well, day by day. For me, having a stable income, receiving a salary right from my labor sweat, being close to my children is already a precious happiness. Sometimes people are hesitant because working as a worker, as a general laborer, but for me, I am proud because I work honestly...".
