More than 200 athletes compete in social insurance industry sports festival
Lao Cai - April 19, the Provincial Social Insurance Grassroots Trade Union held the closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the 2026 Sports Festival after 2 days of exciting competition.
The sports festival takes place with 2 sports including Pickleball and men's and women's football. Among them, Pickleball is a new point of this year's season, attracting a large number of officials and employees to participate in the men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles events, creating an exciting competition atmosphere.
Football continues to bring many dramatic matches, showing the spirit of solidarity and coordination between units.
According to the Organizing Committee, the teams had serious preparation, professional quality was improved, many athletes competed impressively, dedicated beautiful plays, and received enthusiastic cheers from fans.
Not only is it a playground for physical training, the sports festival is also an opportunity to strengthen exchanges and connect officials and employees throughout the industry, spread the sports movement, and contribute to building a dynamic and united working environment.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second, and third prizes in the competition categories along with 4 sub-prizes for outstanding individuals.
The sports festival is a practical activity to celebrate Southern Liberation Day April 30, International Labor Day May 1, and at the same time affirm the role of trade union organizations in caring for the spiritual life of workers.
