Phu Tho Trade Union enthusiastically hosts sports tournament in response to Workers' Month
Phu Tho - Responding to Workers' Month 2026, many grassroots trade unions in the province organize sports tournaments, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere.
Ky Son Ward Trade Union just organized a tug-of-war and sack race on April 19. This activity is towards celebrating the 140th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2026).
The tournament attracted 14 grassroots trade unions to participate, competing in men's tug-of-war, men's and women's tug-of-war and sack dancing events. The competitions took place sôi nổi, creating an atmosphere of solidarity and cohesion among union members.

On the same day, An Nghia Commune Trade Union organized the opening ceremony of the 2026 sports tournament with tug-of-war and sack races, attracting more than 180 athletes, coaches and fans to participate.
The program contributes to creating a vibrant emulation movement, strengthening exchanges, and improving the health of workers, civil servants, and laborers. This is also an activity in response to the campaign "All people practice physical exercise following the example of the great Uncle Ho".

At Thuy Van Industrial Park, the grassroots Trade Union of Yakjin Vietnam Co., Ltd. organized the final round of the men's and women's volleyball tournament within the framework of activities to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, and at the same time respond to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health.
The large number of participating teams shows that the sports movement in businesses is increasingly developing. The matches contribute to strengthening the cohesion between employees, building a united and dynamic working environment.
In conclusion, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the teams with outstanding achievements.
Previously, on the afternoon of April 18, 2026, the grassroots Trade Union of Loi Tin Lap Thach Co., Ltd. organized a ceremony to respond to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health with many practical activities.
In addition to cultural exchange programs, the unit also reviewed working conditions and cared for the lives of workers. At the program, 75 gifts (each worth 800,000 VND) were presented to union members in difficult circumstances.
The series of activities at grassroots trade unions not only creates a healthy playground but also contributes to caring for spiritual life, encouraging workers to enthusiastically compete in labor and production.
