Nghe An spends an additional 38.6 billion VND to give gifts to people with meritorious services

On July 26, information from the People's Committee of Nghe An province said that the province is urgently paying gifts to people with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of martyrs and people worshiping martyrs to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee decided to allocate an additional 38.6 billion VND from the local budget to give gifts to all 77,318 people with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of martyrs and people worshiping martyrs in the area.

Each gift is worth 500,000 VND. This is the first time Nghe An has allocated a large budget to give gifts to all people with meritorious services and related subjects throughout the province.

Mr. Vi Ngoc Quynh - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Nghe An province said that the funding is not only of material support but also expresses gratitude to those who have contributed and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The People's Committee of Nghe An province has requested communes and wards to review the list, organize payments to the right beneficiaries, publicly, transparently and complete it before July 27.

In addition to the province's gifts, Nghe An also organized the payment of gifts from the President to policy beneficiaries with a total budget of more than 23.6 billion VND.

The province also allocated more than 700 million VND to give gifts to typical people with meritorious services, some cases not eligible for gifts from the President and units taking care of and nursing people with meritorious services.
