Delegates attending the 14th National Congress of Women discuss at 4 centers

Before the first session took place, the delegation attending the 14th National Congress of Women led by Ms. Le Thi Thuy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Women's Union of the XIII term visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and offered incense at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs.

At the first working session, the Congress implemented the following contents: Electing the Presidium of the Congress, the Secretariat of the Congress, the Committee for thẩm tra (appraisal/verification) of delegate qualifications; Approving the Congress Program, the Congress Working Regulations, the Election Regulations; Report on thẩm tra (appraisal/verification) of delegate qualifications; Voting to approve the report on thẩm tra (appraisal/verification) of delegate qualifications; Review report of the 13th Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; Announcing the establishment of Discussion Centers.

Also in the first session, delegates discussed at 4 centers with the topics: Continuing to innovate the content and methods of Association activities; actively participating in building a clean and strong Party and political system; Building Vietnamese women in the new era, contributing to the development of Vietnamese culture and people; The role of women in economic development, contributing to the achievement of the country's rapid and sustainable growth goals; Cultivating the values of Vietnamese families "progressive, civilized, prosperous, and happy".

According to the plan, in the afternoon of June 17, the second session will discuss at the hall and the Congress will implement the following contents: Presenting the Summary Report on the implementation of the Charter of the 13th Vietnam Women's Union and submitting the amendment and supplementation of the Charter of the Vietnam Women's Union; Voting to approve the Charter of the Vietnam Women's Union (amended and supplemented); Presenting the Personnel Project; Reporting and approving the Personnel Project and electing the 14th Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union for the term 2026 - 2031; Voting to approve the results of the election of the 14th Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, term 2026 - 2031.

Immediately after that, the first Conference of the 14th Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, term 2026 - 2031 will take place.
