Workers have many initiatives at IaLy Hydropower Plant

On June 16, representatives of IaLy Hydropower Company (headquartered in Gia Lai province) said that from the beginning of the year to now, officials and employees of the unit have had many technical innovations, contributing to improving the efficiency of reservoir and power plant operation.

The movement to promote initiatives spread strongly, especially among engineers and direct production operation staff.

Specifically, the Operation Workshop has had 6 solutions participating, including: automatic operation of traffic change warning sirens at IaLy Hydropower Plant; improvement of the way of monitoring oil levels and oil temperature of 500kV transformer (MBA) (T1-T4);

Technical and organizational solutions to optimize human resources for operating OPY 500kV Substation and water intake gates of IaLy Hydropower Plant; connecting the 500kV transformer online monitoring system of IaLy Expanded Plant and IaLy Hydropower Plant; applying artificial intelligence (AI) to automate the work of scheduling duty and changing operation shifts...

Technical initiatives and digital transformation are highly appreciated for bringing efficiency, reducing costs, labor capacity, thereby increasing productivity and output.

It is known that IaLy and IaLy expansion Hydropower Plants are one of the 9 strategic multi-purpose hydropower projects of the country.

In addition to large-scale power generation capacity, the plants also have the function of flood regulation, water supply for domestic use and agricultural production for the downstream area of Gia Lai province.
