Thanh Hoa - Provincial Labor Federation coordinates with Trade Union University to open the K297 training class on theoretical and professional trade union work.

On May 29, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the University of Trade Unions to organize the opening ceremony of the K297 training class on trade union theory and professional skills.

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Manh Hung - Rector of Trade Union University and 57 students who are trade union officials of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation.

The class takes place for 3 months. During the learning process, students will be equipped with basic knowledge about the overview of the Vietnam Trade Union; the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and guiding documents for implementation; labor and trade union laws; skills in dialogue, collective bargaining, signing and supervising collective labor agreements.

In addition, trainees are also trained in skills to participate in managing, leading, and operating trade union organizations and activities; professional skills in planning, reporting, and digital transformation; trade union finance and accounting work; propaganda, communication, mobilization skills for union members and workers, and women's work.

Contents on professional development of union members, establishment of grassroots trade unions, organization of congresses and trade union conferences; conflict management and negotiation skills in trade union activities are also included in the training program.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation requested trainees to participate in the course fully and seriously, considering this a very important task.
