News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on January 11 said: The Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation organizes the direction of the implementation of professional training for financial staff.

This activity is organized in the context of the requirement for increasingly strict and transparent management of trade union finances, aiming to improve the capacity to perform tasks at commune and ward trade unions.

The conference was attended by officials in charge of finance, accounting, trade union accounting, ward union treasurers, and officials in the finance department and trade union capital support fund.

This is the force directly performing the management of revenue and expenditure, assets and financial resources to serve trade union activities at the grassroots level.

At the conference, Ms. Ho Thi Lan Huong, Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, said that finance is one of the factors that determine the effectiveness of the operation of the Trade Union organization.

According to Ms. Huong, when financial work is carried out in accordance with regulations, publicly and transparently, the Trade Union organization will have better conditions to care for union members and workers, while building trust from the grassroots.

Ms. Huong emphasized that the Standing Committee's attention to organizing training courses not only aims to equip professional knowledge but also demonstrates the responsibility to accompany and support grassroots staff in the process of performing their tasks.

"I hope that through this training course, you will have enough knowledge and skills, thereby being more proactive in your work and implementing the regulations of the Trade Union organization well," said Ms. Huong.

Close training on work reality

At the training session, the officials in charge of financial accounting, union accounting, commune and ward union treasurers, and officials of the finance department and union capital support fund were discussed by Ms. Le Thao Huyen Trang, a specialist of the Workers, Civil Servants and Labor Capital Support Fund, on legal bases and union financial principles.

In addition, regulations related to revenue and expenditure, financial management and trade union assets are also clearly presented, associated with practical requirements.

Another key content is the guidance on preparing settlement reports and using VCS accounting software. Thereby, helping grassroots staff more conveniently manage data, while improving accuracy and synchronization in synthesis and reporting.

After the training session, Ms. Ha, a grassroots union official, shared that the training course was organized methodically and thoughtfully. The training content is close to the reality of work, helping her and everyone better understand their responsibilities in managing union finances.

Through the training session, I have a better understanding of regulations on union finance and how to use accounting software. Specific instructions help me feel more confident when doing my job," said Ms. Ha.
