Da Nang Trade Union opens 2 professional training classes for union members in the fishing industry
Da Nang - The City Labor Federation opened 2 classes of training for captain and chief engineer of class I for union members in the fishing industry.
News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on December 16 said: The Thang An Commune Labor Union in coordination with the Binh Minh Fisheries Union and the Center for crew Training and marine Technology Development (Nha Trang University) organized the opening of 2 training classes for captain and chief engineer skills of class I for fishermen who are ship owners and captains in the area.
Participating in the training courses were more than 60 trainees who are fishermen with fishing boats or directly controlling fishing boats in coastal villages of Binh Minh commune (now in Thang An commune), Binh Hai commune and Binh Nam commune (now in Thang Truong commune).
The classes take place over a period of 20 days, focusing on equipping theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the operation of ships and boats at sea. Through the program, union members in the fishing industry are improved their professional qualifications, meeting the requirements of maritime safety and legal regulations, contributing to improving the efficiency of seafood exploitation and ensuring safety for fishermen when operating at sea.
