Dong Thap establishes "Corporate Trade Union Officials" club in industrial park

The Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap has just organized a Conference to announce the decision to establish and launch 2 "Corporate Trade Union Cadre" clubs at Tan Huong Industrial Park (Tan Huong commune) and Long Giang Industrial Park (Tan Phuoc 3 commune), Dong Thap province.

This is considered a practical activity to celebrate the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress and respond to Workers' Month 2026, marking a new step in building a strong Trade Union organization in industrial parks in the province.

At the conference, the Organizing Committee announced the decision to establish the "Corporate Trade Union Cadre" model, launched the Steering Committee, approved operating regulations and deployed operating directions in the coming time. The model was established to build a team of typical trade union cadres with capacity, responsibility and enthusiasm to be the core force in propaganda and mobilization of union members and workers.

At the same time, promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers at enterprises.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap - emphasized that in the context of the increasing number of businesses and workers, building a core force of trade union officials is a necessary requirement to promote the role of "bridge" between trade union organizations and union members and workers. This is also an important force in propagating the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; mobilizing workers to comply with labor regulations, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.

According to the operating orientation deployed at the conference, the clubs will focus on a number of key tasks such as: strengthening the application of digital technology in trade union activities; improving dialogue and negotiation skills; proactively grasping the situation of labor relations; coordinating to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.

Speaking to direct at the conference, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Chairwoman of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation - acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactiveness and creativity of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap in building new models suitable to current practical requirements. At the same time, she hoped that club members would promote the spirit of responsibility and capacity, contributing to building an increasingly strong trade union organization, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.

Representative of the Board of Directors of the "Corporate Trade Union Cadre" Club, Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Han, said that the Club will be an environment for trade union officials to exchange, share experiences, improve operational skills and promote the role of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

In the coming time, the club will focus on implementing contents such as: propagating the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; improving negotiation and dialogue skills; promoting the core role in emulation movements; promptly grasping the thoughts and aspirations of workers; and promoting the application of digital technology in grassroots trade union activities.

On the same day, at Du Duc Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Tan Huong Industrial Park), the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap in coordination with Saigon Cuu Long Hospital Joint Stock Company organized health check-ups, health consultations, free medicine distribution and gifts for more than 275 union members and workers. The total implementation cost of more than 85 million VND was sponsored by Saigon Cuu Long Hospital Joint Stock Company and Hoang Tam Production - Trading - Service Co., Ltd.
