Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union, Da Nang organizes many social security activities

Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union has just organized many practical social security activities, targeting people, women and students in difficult circumstances in Nam Giang mountainous commune.

Chairman of Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union Phan Van Sang said that after Thanh Khe ward and Nam Giang commune signed the twinning program, the two localities have maintained many practical coordination activities. The two sides regularly exchange experiences in Party building, political system building, local management and administration; and at the same time support infrastructure development, connecting socialized resources to improve people's lives.

In the past time, agencies, units, businesses, trade union members, women's union members and people of Thanh Khe ward have actively accompanied Nam Giang commune in social security work, supporting people to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

At the program, the Organizing Committee presented many gifts with a total value of more than 220 million VND. In which, Thanh Khe Ward Trade Union mobilized grassroots trade unions, units and businesses to donate 15 "Tiếp sức đến trường" bicycles to 15 students overcoming difficulties and studying well. The locality also donated community health care products including Calcium D3 medicine, Danapha massage oil, toothbrushes and toothpaste.

In particular, 140 gifts were given to households in difficult circumstances in the commune. Each gift includes cash and essential necessities, contributing to supporting people to reduce difficulties in life.

The activity demonstrates the role of trade unions and women's unions in mobilizing social resources to care for people's lives. At the same time, it contributes to tightening the sisterhood relationship between Thanh Khe ward and Nam Giang commune, creating motivation for the two localities to continue to coordinate in implementing social security programs in the coming time.
