Commune and ward trade unions coordinate to organize the launching ceremony and environmental sanitation campaign

Responding to the movement "All people join hands to protect the environment, for a green - clean - beautiful Vietnam", recently, many Commune and Ward Trade Unions in Dong Thap province have coordinated with socio-political organizations to organize launching ceremonies and launch campaigns to implement environmental protection activities, attracting a large number of officials, union members, workers and people to participate.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the forces simultaneously deployed many practical activities such as collecting, sorting and treating waste; cleaning traffic routes, residential areas, public areas; clearing bushes, clearing sewers; planting and caring for green trees and ornamental flowers.

Along with that is propaganda and mobilization for people to limit the use of disposable plastic products, carry out waste sorting at source and maintain environmental sanitation in their living and working places.

Through launching activities, commune and ward trade unions, and grassroots trade unions have promoted the pioneering role of trade union members in participating in environmental protection movements, building a civilized lifestyle, contributing to raising community awareness and responsibility in preserving a green - clean - beautiful environmental landscape.

Many localities also integrate propaganda on building civilized urban areas, advanced new rural areas, responding to climate change and economic development associated with environmental protection.

This is a practical activity, contributing to concretizing the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws on environmental protection; and at the same time promoting the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of officials, union members, workers and people in building a safe and healthy living environment.

Thereby, creating a strong spread of environmental protection awareness in the community, contributing to building Dong Thap province to be increasingly green, clean, beautiful, civilized and sustainable.
