An Giang voters have many recommendations focused on the field of investment and infrastructure construction
An Giang - Voters propose to focus on many areas, in which investment and infrastructure construction account for the highest proportion (37.17%).
On July 28, at the 4th session of the An Giang Provincial People's Council, information was provided about the results of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council's supervision of voters' recommendations. The total number of voters' recommendations before and after the regular session in 2025 was 269 recommendations. Of which, before the session 184 recommendations, after the session 85 recommendations. The content of recommendations is concentrated in many fields, in which investment and infrastructure construction account for the highest proportion (37.17%).
Total number of petitions resolved or answered: 269/269 petitions, 100% rate. Of which: Petitions resolved with specific results 7.06%; Petitions that have been answered, explained, explained and informed to voters 32.71%; Petitions being resolved 20.81%; Petitions that have been answered and recorded, transferred to other agencies for consideration and handling without specific results 18.99%; Petitions repeatedly not resolved thoroughly 1.85%; Petitions under the authority of the Central Government 1.48%; Petitions under the authority of commune levels 17.1%.
Through supervision, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council realized that although after arranging administrative units at the provincial and commune levels, implementing local government at 2 levels, sectors and localities must perform many new assigned tasks, the Provincial People's Committee still pays attention to directing the resolution and response to voters' petitions, through issuing official letters to receive and explain voters' petitions and assigning tasks to provincial departments, branches, agencies, and units with the function of resolving and responding.
On that basis, provincial departments, agencies, and units have explained and advised the Provincial People's Committee to resolve and answer most of the voters' petitions. Most of the voters' petitions have been considered for resolution, answering, and explaining laws and information, basically meeting the legitimate and legal requirements of voters.
Besides the achieved results, the work of resolving and responding to voters' petitions still has some shortcomings and limitations. The quality of answering many voters' petitions is not guaranteed, many contents of voters' petitions answered are still lengthy, not focused on the focus of voters' petitions; the content of answers has not updated the results of resolution according to the actual situation in the report.
There are still many recommendations recorded, transferred to other agencies for consideration and handling, and there are no specific results yet. The proportion of voters' recommendations being resolved is still high, and some contents have been answered without clarifying when they will be implemented. There are still some voters' recommendations reflected many times, and through many sessions, they have not been completely resolved, such as: drug shortages, competent authorities issuing land use right certificates, procedures for transferring medical examination and treatment facilities, and considering slow-progress projects in Phu Quoc.

Many opinions related to the construction, upgrading, and repair of bridges, rural roads, urban works of commune and inter-communal levels or decentralization to health stations for drug bidding... due to resources, especially financial resources of commune levels not being met, not being resolved, but in this report, this content replied that authority has been decentralized to commune levels.
Through summarizing the fields proposed by voters, it shows that the field of infrastructure construction investment, especially transport infrastructure in National Highways, provincial roads and rural transport, is the field that voters propose the most. This is an area that has a direct impact on people's lives and needs to be further concerned and resolved by competent authorities, answered and have effective implementation solutions in the coming time.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council proposed that the Provincial People's Committee have solutions to handle the contents of voters' petitions that are being resolved, including reviewing which contents are still general answers that do not have time, and the implementation progress needs to be clearly estimated for each petition.
For recorded recommendations, assign departments and branches to handle them, and if there are no specific results, they must be inspected and urged to resolve them, or answer voters about the results of the resolution and the expected specific time.
