Mr. Luong Tuan Hung elected as Vice Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee

On July 28, the 18th Cao Bang Provincial People's Council, term 2026 - 2031, held the 5th (thematic) session to consider and decide on some important contents and implement personnel work according to its authority.

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Phan Thang An said that the meeting takes place in the context that the whole province is focusing on implementing socio-economic development tasks in 2026, aiming to complete the set growth targets.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hai Hoa presented a report on the dismissal of Mr. Vu Dinh Quang from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the term 2026 - 2031 due to being transferred and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Thuc Phan ward for the term 2025 - 2030.

After considering the submission and appraisal report of the Legal Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the delegates voted unanimously to dismiss Mr. Vu Dinh Quang from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

To consolidate the leadership apparatus of the Provincial People's Committee according to regulations, the Provincial People's Council has conducted additional elections for the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the term 2026 - 2031 for Mr. Luong Tuan Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Construction.

As a result, with 100% of the delegates present in favor, Mr. Luong Tuan Hung was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee for the term 2026 - 2031.

Also at the meeting, the Provincial People's Council implemented the procedure for dismissal from the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026 - 2031 term for Mr. and Mrs.: Luu Cong Huu (former Director of the Department of Finance), Nguyen Ngoc Thu (former Director of the Department of Education and Training), Pham Xuan Tung (former Director of the Department of Industry and Trade) and Ha Ngoc Tu (former Chief Inspector of the province) due to transfer.

The delegates also voted to pass a resolution confirming the results of dismissal of Mr. Luu Cong Huu, Nguyen Ngoc Thu and Pham Xuan Tung.

In order to ensure the structure and number of members of the Provincial People's Committee according to regulations, the Provincial People's Council has considered and elected additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026 - 2031 term for the following officials: Nguyen The Hoan - Director of the Department of Finance; Le Van Giang - Chief Inspector of the province; Le Van Dinh - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade and Dam Thi Trung Thu - Director of the Department of Education and Training.
