Press focuses highly on bringing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress into life

On the afternoon of June 17, in Hanoi, to celebrate the 101st anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2026), the National Political Publishing House Truth in coordination with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, and the Communist Review Magazine organized a national scientific conference "Revolutionary Press with the task of propagating Documents of the 14th Party Congress".

Speaking to host the Conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House Truth - emphasized that the Document of the XIV Congress is of particular importance, showing new developments in the Party's strategic thinking on the path of national development in the new period; is an important political and ideological basis to consolidate trust, consensus in society and arouse the aspiration to develop the country.

In the context of the 14th Party Congress opening up new strategic orientations for national development, the propaganda work of the Congress Documents is an urgent requirement and a regular political task, aimed at creating unity in awareness, will and action throughout society.

The conference is an opportunity to focus on clarifying theoretical and practical issues about the role of revolutionary journalism in propagating the Documents of the 14th Party Congress; assessing the current situation of propaganda work in all types of journalism; identifying opportunities and challenges posed in the context of digital transformation; and at the same time proposing solutions to innovate the content, methods and forms of propaganda, quickly bringing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress into life.

Speaking at the conclusion of the Conference, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Tran Thanh Lam emphasized a number of major orientations and key solutions to strongly promote the role of revolutionary journalism in propagating the Documents of the 14th Party Congress in the coming time.

First, promote the consistent role of revolutionary journalism, focusing highly on the task of bringing the Documents and Resolutions of the 14th Party Congress into life.

Second, comprehensively innovate the content, forms and methods of document dissemination associated with comprehensive digital transformation.

Third, focus on building a team of "Modern Journalists - Theorists - Propagandists".

Fourth, strengthen the coordination between the press and publishing, forming a spearhead accompanying the propaganda of Documents.

Fifth, promote foreign information, strongly spread the image, vision, orientation and development achievements of Vietnam to the world.

With the glorious tradition of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Tran Thanh Lam believes that press agencies will continue to promote their role as sharp ideological weapons of the Party, maintain political bravery, firmly orient ideology, and at the same time promote strong innovation and creativity.

Close coordination between press agencies and the political system will help the propaganda work of the 14th Congress Documents truly become an ideological lever, firmly consolidating the Party's ideological foundation, fostering revolutionary ideals and arousing the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country in the era of national rise.
