Applying AI to practice, improving the quality of An Giang Trade Union activities

On June 19, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Military Industry - Telecommunications Group (Viettel) to organize a training conference "Application of artificial intelligence (AI) in Trade Union activities in 2026" for a team of full-time Trade Union officials.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Nhat Tien emphasized that the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in Trade Union activities is an inevitable requirement in the current digital transformation process. AI will effectively support Trade Union officials in drafting documents, building forms, summarizing data and handling professional work... At the same time, he requested delegates to focus on absorbing knowledge, proactively applying AI tools to practical work to improve the quality of Trade Union activities, reduce work processing time and increase the efficiency of task implementation.

At the training class, trainees were introduced to an overview of AI and digital transformation in Trade Union activities; guided on the application of AI in drafting documents, summarizing reports; supported Trade Union communication work such as writing news articles, image design, digital content production; and practiced handling real-life situations with the guidance of Viettel experts.

Through the program, the team of Trade Union officials is expected to improve digital capacity, increase work efficiency, and contribute to innovating Trade Union activities in a modern, practical and closer direction to union members and workers in the digital transformation period.
