Tu Liem Ward Trade Union establishes 28 grassroots trade unions

Since the beginning of the year, 40 grassroots trade unions have been established in Tu Liem ward with 2,247 union members. In July alone, the ward trade union established 28 grassroots trade unions with 686 union members.

Mr. Le Dinh Hung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation affirmed that this result shows the efforts of the Tu Liem Ward Trade Union in propagating, mobilizing and expanding the organization, gathering workers to join the Trade Union organization.

For newly established grassroots trade unions in July, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation expressed his wishes and requested the Executive Committees of units to soon stabilize their organizations, promote the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers, contributing to building businesses and localities to develop more and more.

It is known that the Trade Union of Tu Liem Ward has organized the program "Listening to union members and workers speak".

This is an opportunity for grassroots trade unions in the ward to continue to innovate their operating methods, listen from the grassroots level, and act for union members and workers; and at the same time spread the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, affirming the role of the Vietnam Trade Union organization in the new period.
