Trade Union Shelter realizes the dream of housing for workers in Dong Thap

In Thanh Hung hamlet, Long Hung commune (Dong Thap province), the Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a ceremony to hand over "Trade Union Shelter" to union members in difficult housing circumstances.
That is union member Duong Minh Phung (Trade Union of Song Tien Garment Joint Stock Company) working at My Tho Industrial Park, Trung An ward, Dong Thap province. Difficult circumstances, and living dependent on income, which is only enough to cover daily living expenses, for this union member, the dream of a spacious house is still very far away.
At the handover ceremony of the "Trade Union Shelter", leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation; Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap; Song Tien Garment Joint Stock Company and the company's grassroots trade union visited, encouraged, and presented congratulatory gifts to union member Duong Minh Phung's family. Representatives of the Trade Union organization wished union members to continue to strive to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, stick with the company and successfully complete the assigned tasks.
Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation Nguyen Thanh Tuan said that the "Trade Union Shelter" program aims to care for trade unions and workers in difficult circumstances to stabilize their lives. This is one of the meaningful programs of the Trade Union organization in recent years, supporting many trade union member families to build and repair houses; at the same time, encouraging and motivating union members to continue striving, overcome difficulties in life, and feel secure in labor and production.
It is known that after more than 3 months of construction, the above-mentioned project was completed with a usable area of nearly 60m2, total construction cost of more than 160 million VND.
