Nearly 200 trade union members of Hoi An Tay ward, Da Nang are disseminated labor laws
Da Nang - Hoi An Tay Ward Trade Union has just organized propaganda on the 2019 Employment Law and Labor Code for union members and workers.
On July 29, Da Nang City Labor Federation said that Hoi An Tay Ward Trade Union had just organized a conference to disseminate some contents of the 2019 Labor Code and the Employment Law to grassroots trade union officials, union members and workers in the area. The program attracted nearly 200 participants.
The conference aims to raise awareness and awareness of law compliance among union members and workers; contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
At the program, delegates were disseminated key contents of the 2019 Labor Code such as the rights and obligations of employees and employers; concluding and implementing labor contracts; working hours, rest hours; wages; dialogues at the workplace; collective bargaining; labor discipline; occupational safety and health, and regulations directly related to the legitimate rights and interests of employees.
In addition, the speaker also introduced the basic contents of the Employment Law, focusing on employment policy, unemployment insurance, conditions for enjoying unemployment benefits, vocational training support, counseling, job introduction and policies to support workers to maintain jobs and stabilize their lives.
In addition to the knowledge transfer part, the conference spent time exchanging and answering many questions and problems arising during the working process. The consulting content closely follows reality, helping union members and workers better understand legal regulations, proactively protect their legitimate rights and interests, and fully fulfill their obligations according to regulations.
According to the Hoi An Tay Ward Trade Union, legal propaganda activities are organized regularly to improve legal understanding for union members and workers; contributing to building a safe and civilized working environment, harmonious and stable labor relations, and building an increasingly strong contingent of workers, civil servants, and laborers, meeting development requirements in the new period.
