Establishment of grassroots trade union at a wood company in Tan Uyen ward

Tan Uyen Ward Trade Union (HCMC) said that this is a practical activity to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 – July 28, 2026).

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Do Thi Hoa - Vice Chairwoman of Tan Uyen Ward Trade Union congratulated the grassroots Trade Union of Vinh Hung Wood Co., Ltd. At the same time, affirmed that building a Trade Union organization in enterprises contributes to better caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers.

In addition, the Trade Union will be an important bridge between workers and businesses, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.

Ms. Do Thi Hoa requested the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union to quickly stabilize the organization, build operating regulations, promote the role of representing and accompanying businesses in the production and business process, and actively respond to emulation movements launched by the Trade Union organization.

According to records, in the past month, Tan Uyen Ward Trade Union has organized the establishment of 4 grassroots trade unions and 1 professional union.

Tan Uyen Ward Trade Union said that the unit is making efforts to implement the task of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions according to the set targets. Thereby building a stronger and stronger Trade Union organization, truly being a reliable support for union members and workers. At the same time, contributing to the successful implementation of the local socio-economic development task.
