Grassroots trade unions in Da Nang organize occupational safety and health training for union members

News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on July 21st said: in order to raise awareness and skills about occupational safety and hygiene and proactively respond to emergency situations at the workplace, the Trade Union of Viet Tuong Phat Embroidery Co., Ltd. has organized a training program on occupational safety and hygiene and first aid training for all union members and workers working at the unit.

At the training session, more than 80 union members and workers listened to representatives of the Training and Safety Technical Services Joint Stock Company disseminate legal regulations on occupational safety and health; measures to identify and prevent risks and occupational accidents; instructions on using labor protection equipment in accordance with regulations, contributing to building a safe and effective working environment.

In addition, the first aid training content has equipped workers with the necessary knowledge and skills in initial handling of situations such as fainting, bleeding, fractures, burns, electric shock, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)...

Through the practical part, workers are directly operated under the guidance of lecturers, helping to improve their ability to handle situations when incidents occur.

This activity not only contributes to the good implementation of legal regulations on occupational safety and health, but also shows the concern of businesses for the health and lives of workers.

At the same time, this is also a practical activity to build a safety culture in businesses, creating a stable, safe and sustainable working environment.

The program received positive responses from all union members and workers, contributing to raising the sense of responsibility of each individual in ensuring labor safety and hygiene and taking care of the health of themselves as well as colleagues at work.
