Nghia Lo Trade Union builds a drug-free working environment

On June 19, Nghia Lo Ward Police coordinated with Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union and Chien Thang - Nghia Lo Garment Co., Ltd. to organize a quick drug inspection for workers working at the enterprise.

The activity is implemented to implement Resolution No. 51 of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on strengthening leadership and direction in building communes and wards without drugs.

The inspection was carried out seriously and objectively for 39 male workers working at the enterprise. The results showed that 100% of the workers tested were negative for drugs. All test samples were preserved in accordance with regulations.

In addition to inspection, units also promote propaganda and dissemination of knowledge about the harmful effects of drugs on health, family happiness and labor productivity; raise awareness of law compliance, build a civilized, disciplined and safe working style for workers.

According to the Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union, to date, 203 union members and workers at Chien Thang - Nghia Lo Garment Co., Ltd. have signed commitments not to violate the law on drugs.

This is proof of the determination of businesses, trade union organizations and workers in building a safe and healthy production environment, without drug evils.

Inspection and supervision activities combined with propaganda are assessed as practical solutions to proactively prevent and prevent drugs from entering the labor environment, contributing to ensuring security and order and improving the quality of human resources in the locality.

In the coming time, Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union will continue to coordinate with the police force and businesses in the area to organize random inspections of workers; and at the same time strengthen propaganda and dissemination of laws on drug prevention and control, towards the goal of building a safe, civilized and drug-free working environment.
