Establishment of grassroots trade union with 69 union members in Vinh Long

On June 19, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation organized a conference to announce the decision to recognize union members and establish the grassroots trade union of Susa Vietnam Food Co., Ltd. Representatives of local leaders, businesses and trade union organizations attended.

At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation announced the decision to recognize 69 trade union members and establish the grassroots trade union of Susa Vietnam Food Co., Ltd. The interim Executive Committee was appointed to manage operations in the initial stage.

According to the decision, Ms. Nguyen Nhat Hong Tuoi was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union. Ms. Ha Thi Khanh Ly holds the position of Vice Chairwoman, Chairwoman of the Inspection Committee of the grassroots Trade Union, and participates in operating Trade Union activities.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation - emphasized that the establishment of grassroots trade unions helps workers have legal representative organizations, protecting legitimate rights and interests in the working process.

Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh believes that the Trade Union organization will be a bridge between workers and businesses, contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations; and at the same time creating motivation to promote sustainable business development.

The Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation requested the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union to quickly stabilize the organization, develop operating regulations, launch labor production emulation movements and pay attention to taking care of union members' lives.

Representatives of the Board of Directors of Susa Vietnam Food Co., Ltd. expressed their agreement and commitment to closely coordinate with the Trade Union organization in caring for workers, building a safe, friendly and effective working environment.

According to businesses, the presence of the Trade Union organization contributes to strengthening the connection between workers and businesses, helping workers feel secure at work, improving productivity, quality and business efficiency.

From the beginning of 2026 to now, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation has established 29 grassroots trade unions in units and businesses. This result continues to affirm the role of the Trade Union organization in gathering and uniting workers.
