Luc Yen Trade Union tightens drug prevention and control in enterprises
Lao Cai - The implementation of the "Based Trade Union Without Drugs" model aims to prevent and combat social evils at enterprises, towards a safe working environment.
On June 12, Luc Yen Commune Trade Union informed that the unit had just deployed the "Grassroots Trade Union without drugs" model at two pilot units including Luc Yen Co., Ltd. and Luc Yen Branch - Viet Duc Metallurgy and Mining Joint Stock Company.
The model is built to concretize the goal of "drug-free commune" in 2026, and at the same time promote the role of trade union organizations in propaganda and prevention of social evils right at production and business establishments.

Accordingly, grassroots trade unions organize signing commitments with union members and workers on not using, storing, trading or assisting drugs; and proactively detect and denounce violations.
In parallel with that, propaganda work is promoted, helping to raise workers' awareness of the harmful effects of drugs and responsibility in preventing and combating social evils.

Luc Yen Commune Trade Union said it will continue to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the model to serve as a basis for replication in the coming time, towards a safer and healthier working environment.
