Drug testing for workers at a business in Khanh Hoa

On June 12, news from the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police said that they had coordinated with Ba Ho Co., Ltd. to organize a conference to disseminate laws on drugs, guide the construction of the "No Drug Enterprise" model and deploy drug testing for workers.

The activity is part of the general review and testing plan for drug substances in the body for workers and laborers at enterprises, industrial parks, clusters and project sites in the province.

At the conference, officers of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department disseminated basic legal regulations on drug prevention and control; guided on recognizing new types of drugs, drugs disguised as food and beverages, and methods and tricks of drug criminals today.

In addition, the police force guides businesses on the steps to build and maintain the "Doanh nghiệp không ma túy" model, contributing to creating a safe and healthy working environment and improving self-prevention of risks related to drug evils.

Immediately after the propaganda part, functional forces coordinated with the local health sector and businesses to take samples and conduct drug screening tests in the body for all employees of Ba Ho Co., Ltd.

Test results showed that all 70 cases tested were negative for drugs.

According to functional forces, proactively coordinating propaganda and inspection at the grassroots level contributes to raising awareness and responsibility of business owners and workers; and at the same time, promptly detecting and preventing the risk of social evils entering the production environment, ensuring security and order in the area.
