Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union, Da Nang establishes 6 new grassroots trade unions

News from Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on July 26 said: Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union organizes a program to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 – July 28, 2026).

Attending the program were representatives of the Da Nang City Labor Federation; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Cuong ward; Executive Committee of the Ward Trade Union, term I, along with representatives of grassroots trade unions and a large number of union members and workers.

At the program, Ms. Phung Thi Ai Nhan - Chairwoman of Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union reviewed the 97-year glorious tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union, affirming the role of the Trade Union organization in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

After one year of establishment, Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union has achieved many positive results, and was ranked by the Da Nang City Labor Federation as Excellently completing tasks in 2025.

Responding to the emulation period to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Ward Trade Union has completed many targets for 2026, notably establishing new grassroots trade unions, developing 2,468 union members, organizing consulting activities, legal dialogues and implementing many practical welfare programs for union members.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Ward Trade Union announced and awarded decisions to establish 6 grassroots trade unions, and at the same time presented 90 gifts with a total value of 90 million VND to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, contributing to encouraging and adding motivation for union members to rise up in life.

Also at the program, the Ward Trade Union launched officials, union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers to continue studying, training, improving professional qualifications, industrial style, and promoting the spirit of responsibility and creativity.

At the same time, actively responding to the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" and the campaign "3 savings" launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, contributing to building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization and contributing to the development of the locality.
